The future of BRANDING

When Branding Meets AI: Purpose, Trust and the Future of Meaning

In May 2026, at the invitation of Human Vera Eğitim ve Organizasyon Istanbul (Turkey), Elena Sacco, Founder of STUDIO SACCO, held a live web seminar dedicated to one of the most relevant questions for companies, institutions and professionals today:

Will technology and AI kill branding?

In front of a large and highly interactive audience, Elena guided participants through the five key eras of branding — from the Trademark Era to the Mass Media Era, from the Relationship Era to the Data Era, and finally to the AI Era.

The seminar explored how branding has progressively evolved from identification to communication, from emotional connection to data-driven personalisation, and now to a new stage in which artificial intelligence is radically transforming the way brands are created, managed and experienced.

But the central message was clear:
AI will not kill branding. It will kill average branding.

In an increasingly automated world, the role of branding becomes even more strategic. Technology can accelerate production, content creation and analysis, but it cannot replace purpose, cultural sensitivity, ethical judgement, emotional intelligence and long-term vision.

A significant part of the conversation was dedicated to trust: the new competitive battlefield for brands in the AI era. As deepfakes, synthetic content and algorithmic outputs become more sophisticated, credibility will no longer be a secondary asset. It will become one of the most important differentiators.

Elena also addressed the importance of source verification, authenticity and ethics, reminding the audience that AI is not infallible: it is not based on human reasoning, but on data collected, processed and recombined from the web.

For STUDIO SACCO, this is where branding must reclaim its most important role: helping companies define meaning, build trust, protect reputation and move with purpose — not simply with speed.

Because in the AI era, the strongest brands will not be the ones that generate the most content.
They will be the ones that remain credible, relevant and deeply human.
